I was actually surprised to see that Dawnguard had a story similar to my female vampire character. What gets old is the regular whining characters like Kodlak or Sinding who hate what they become because they became too attached to their human shells. If anything, she should of truly saw her vampirism as a gift. So she get pressured into being Molag Bal's plaything, but in return she is given immortality, immunity to diseases, enhanced powers both natural and supernatural. Thats a pretty good reason to complain about her family. Her father saw her as an instrument to bring about his crazy ambitions, and was willing to sacrifice her life to bring down the sun. Her father AND mother basically peer pressured her into screwing a daedra lord to be a vampire, and ordeal she may or may not survive, then afterwards treated her like an instrument. Its not like she's complaining about little teenager things like not staying up late or something. I know some people don't like her talking about her father and her "daddy issues". And those A better question would be why DONT you like Serana? I mean, come on!
